Maximum Shielding
Advanced EMP Weapons
vs
Advanced EMP/HEMP/IEMI weapons require elevated shielding beyond MIL-STD-188-125-1.
Today, the U.S military uses MIL-STD+20dB (100dB attenuation) for shielding sensitive electronics that must survive.
Soft-sided shielding cases/bags range from 30-60dB of shielding attenuation, which is insufficient against modern-day EMP weapons.
-
Furthermore, when moved or disturbed from a resting position, the EMI seal at the POE is prone to RF leakage.
Aluminum enclosures, also prone to RF leakage, have no magnetic properties and are inferior to steel when shielding from EMP/HEMP/IEMI.
For Maximum Shielding Effectiveness and Performance:
Farasafe EMP boxes produce 100-140db of shielding attenuation in all environments, both stable and unstable.
